We are the Paintsmiths of Bristol, highly-skilled mural artists with a background in graffiti and street art.
Our professional experience also spans other disciplines including fine art, scenery painting, graphic design and illustration. These hugely diverse skill sets give us the versatility to carry out visual tasks to the highest possible standards, for clients in commercial and community settings.
With more than 10 years experience in youth arts, we are equally at home in 'client meetings' with a class of eleven year olds as we are with brand managers.
Previous satisfied clients include: The Royal Navy, Microsoft XBOX, Puma Sportswear, Ogilvy Advertising, The Accor Hotel Group, Milton Keynes Academy, St.Mary Redcliffe Primary School (Bristol) and Bristol City Council.
As well as dozens of large and independent businesses, organisations and schools, we have also painted bedroom walls, gardens, vans, and every imaginable surface in between.
Tom 'Sled One' Sledmore
Existing between modern contemporary and graffiti art, Tom’s signature style translates a vibrant imagination, which is distinctly unique and places him in the cutting edge of his craft. Originally from York, Tom graduated with a degree in fine arts, in Bristol. In this time he has held a solo gallery show and regularly undertakes ambitious artwork in interesting and sometimes grandiose scenes. He regularly travels throughout the uk to paint and enjoys to skateboard in his spare time.
Felix 'FLX' Braun
A veteran of the first wave of UK graffiti, with 30+ years experience under his belt, Felix also trained as a graphic designer, and ran his own design practice during the '90s. As a result he has a keen graphic eye and a real understanding of working to a brief.
In 2002 he retrained as a youth worker, and has worked in youth arts ever since, working in schools and colleges across the UK and abroad.
Felix is also a published author (Children Of The Can, Tangent Books, 2012) and proud dad of two up-and-coming young artists.
Jack has been painting with spray paint for the last 10 years. After graduating with a degree in fine art, he made Bristol his home and has been an active part of its thriving art scene ever since. A natural draughtsman who paints to the highest degree of skill in a wide range of styles and mediums, it is this versitility that keeps his work moving in new and interesting directions. When he is not painting he can usually be found in a boxing gym or hanging off a bouldering wall.
