As some of the foremost graffiti artists in the UK, The Paintsmiths are keen to encourage a new generation of young artists.

Here at The Paintsmiths, not only are we here to spruce up offices, shake up public spaces and spice up festivals; we also want to inspire a new generation of artists to keep The Paintsmiths spirit alive in Bristol long after we hang up our brushes and cans.

As graffiti artists in the UK, we feel it is our duty to pass on our passion for painting to the all the mini Banksy’s and Michaelangelos out there, which is why we are constantly striving to expand our youth art network.

Since we started out, we have had a keen interest in working with schools and youth projects. We have transformed playgrounds, run various workshops, courses and after school clubs; always with the goal of inspiring the kids and young adults that we work with.

Paintsmiths have worked with schools across Bristol, such as ST Mary Redcliffe Primary School, Meriton Primary School and Cotham School. As well as an ongoing project with The Prince’s Trust that helps NEET young adults (Not in Employment, Education or Training) to develop a core skillset to help them build confidence and get back into work or education.

We hope that through our work with schools and young people, we are able to inspire a new generation of artists. Who knows, maybe we could even recruit a few budding Paintsmiths through our youth art network?

We are always interested in taking on new youth art and school projects, so if there is a project you need our help on, or one you think we would like to get involved in, then don’t hesitate to get in touch! You can find all of our contact details Here.
